Lisowski debuted with the Fort Rouge Mallards in the 1968 Manitoba Junior Baseball League. In 1969, he moved up to the Balmoral Orioles of the Manitoba Senior Baseball League followed by the Transcona Bisons in 1970. He was with Canada for the 1970 Amateur World Series. In college in Arizona in 1971, he threw the 4th no-hitter in school history, fanning 16 against Northern Colorado. He signed with the Montréal Expos and was 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA in 8 games for the 1971 Watertown Expos, going 1-for-6 at the plate; that was his sole season in the minors.
The southpaw returned to Canada. He was 8-1 with a 3.13 ERA for the 1973 Binscarth Orioles, tying Grant Everard for the most wins in the Manitoba Senior League and winning Pitcher of the Year; he helped his own cause by batting .313. After being suspended for the 1974 playoffs, he quit the league, calling it "bush." He played for the Teulon Cardinals in the 1975 Manitoba Intermediate League and was still active as of 1979.
