Lennart Weller has been an infielder in the German Bundesliga-1.

Weller debuted in 2005, striking out in his only at-bat for the Bonn Capitals. In 2006, he did very well in 16 games in the Bundesliga-1, hitting .412/.456/.549. His 19 RBI tied him for fourth in the northern Bundesliga-1 despite being only a part-time player and turning 17 years old mid-season. His defense was more of a problem, as he fielded .767; his main position was third base. In 2007, the Bonn batter fell to .243/.389/.311 while fielding .838, now starting at short. He was tied for 6th in the league in walks (16) and tied for third in errors (13). In the 2007 European Junior Championship, he was 3 for 18 with a double and three walks.

In 2008, Weller improved to .330/.435/.385 with 25 runs and 24 RBI in 28 games. He fielded .887, with a league-best 90 assists but also 17 errors (tied for second). He participated in the MLB European Academy that year. In 2009, he continued his roller-coaster career, fading to .172/.400/.234 with 22 walks in 21 games while improving his fielding to .919. He was second in the northern Bundesliga-1 with 69 assists and tied for second in walks. Lennart produced at a .296/.440/.408 clip and fielded .957 in 2010. He tied for the league lead with 24 walks and led with 11 doubles.

Weller batted .295/.457/.381 in 2011, with 25 walks (tied for 4th) and 31 runs (tied for 8th) in 28 games. His fielding fell to .926, though he led the league with 91 assists. He made the German national team roster for the 2011 Baseball World Cup.
