Biographical Information[edit]
Lee Stevens was signed by the California Angels and scout Mark Snipp out of Lawrence (KS) High School as the first round pick in the 1986 amateur draft. To this day, the trees behind the outfield fence at Ice Field are called "Lee's Trees".
Stevens became a coach with the Grand Junction Rockies in 2013-2015 and Modesto Nuts in 2016. Stevens returned to Grand Junction in 2017, then moved to the Hartford Yard Goats in 2018-2019.
