Biographical Information[edit]
Lee Robinson played in the minors from 1967 through 1976, primarily as a catcher and outfielder.
Robinson never played a game in the majors, despite spending nearly two months on the roster of the 1974 National League pennant winners, the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was recalled from the Triple-A Albuquerque Dukes on May 11th to replace pitcher Greg Shanahan. He was returned to Albuquerque on July 3rd when the Dodgers called up Rick Rhoden. Robinson was later voted $2000 in World Series money by his teammates.
