She debuted against the US, pinch-hitting for Gen Beacom and getting plunked by Cody Eckert. Their youngest player, she got some mound work against South Korea, relieving Claire O'Sullivan with a 8-1 lead in the 6th. Hyeo-nah Kim singled, Hyeon-hee Kim hit into a double play and Soo-ji Ahn grounded out. Ashley Patton took over in the 7th. Her first hit was off Yin-Sum Kwong of Hong Kong, scoring Lili Cavanagh. She finished the event 3-for-5 with 3 walks, 2 times plunked, a steal, 3 runs and 3 RBI, fine play for anyone regardless of age. She also pitched 1 1/3 shutout innings, allowing two hits.
