Biographical Information[edit]
Although he came up with the Chicago Cubs in the early 1970s, Larry Gura's best years by far were as a member of the Kansas City Royals in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He won 18 games in 1980 and 1982. He finished his career back with the Cubs in 1985, closing with a 126-97 pitcher win-loss record.
In 1992, he was inducted into the Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame.
