Biographical Information[edit]
Kyle Peterson pitched in the majors with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1999 and 2001, going 5-9, 4.71 overall. The Brewers had high hopes for him after they had selected him with the 13th overall pick of the 1997 amateur draft, out of Stanford University, but he was largely a bust.
After his playing career, Peterson worked for ESPN as a sideline (in the stands) reporter. He also recorded commentary with Mike Patrick for the video game MVP 06 - NCAA Baseball. He has also announced games for ESPN at the 2016 College World Series, 2017 College World Series, 2019 CWS Regionals, 2019 College World Series, 2021 College World Series, 2022 CWS Super Regionals, 2022 College World Series, 2023 CWS Regionals, 2023 CWS Super Regionals, and 2024 College World Series (at least).
