Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Kyle Anderson began his professional career in 2012.

He was signed by Toronto Blue Jays scout Randy Kramer on June 13th of that year and went 4-2 with a 4.53 ERA in 15 games (eight starts) between the GCL Blue Jays and Vancouver Canadians. He was 5-3 with a 2.71 ERA in 15 starts for the Canadians in 2013, earning a Mid-Season All-Star selection. Despite his impressive performance, he was granted free agency by the Blue Jays and began 2014 with the independent Winnipeg Goldeyes, with whom he had a 1.64 ERA in eight games (seven starts). The Arizona Diamondbacks signed him partway through the season and he finished the year with a 5-5 record and a 2.42 ERA in 22 games (11 starts) overall. He was again granted free agency following the 2014 campaign. He returned to Winnipeg for 2015 and 2016, which was his final pro campaign.
