Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Kyle Anderson began his professional career in 2012.

He was signed by Toronto Blue Jays scout Randy Kramer on June 13th of that year and went 4-2 with a 4.53 ERA in 15 games (eight starts) between the GCL Blue Jays and Vancouver Canadians. He was 5-3 with a 2.71 ERA in 15 starts for the Canadians in 2013, earning a Mid-Season All-Star selection. Despite his impressive performance, he was granted free agency by the Blue Jays and began 2014 with the independent Winnipeg Goldeyes, with whom he had a 1.64 ERA in eight games (seven starts). The Arizona Diamondbacks signed him partway through the season and he finished the year with a 5-5 record and a 2.42 ERA in 22 games (11 starts) overall. He was again granted free agency following the 2014 campaign. He returned to Winnipeg for 2015 and 2016, his final pro campaign.
