Biographical Information[edit]

Kwang-eun Moon pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization.

Moon represented South Korea in the 2009 Asian Championship. The SK Wyverns selected him in the first round of the 2010 KBO draft, and he had a 4.82 ERA in 12 appearances in his first year. He only pitched 4 games with a 1.93 ERA in 2011, and he missed the next two seasons due to military service. Moon had a 6.34 ERA in 9 games in 2014, then he collected 11 holds with a 6.85 ERA in 53 appearances in 2015. He struggled again in 2016 as his ERA rose to 9.53 in 17 games, then he notched 2 saves and 5 holds with a 7.05 ERA in 46 games in 2017. The Wyverns then traded him to the LG Twins for Seung-ho Kang, and Moon allowed 9 runs in 6 2/3 innings in 2018. His ERA was 4.09 in 32 games in 2019, and he only got 4 appearances with the big club in 2020. The Twins released him after the 2020 season, and his professional career ended.

Overall, Moon was 6-14 with a 6.58 ERA, struck out 188 and pitched 225 2/3 innings in 9 seasons in the KBO.
