Biographical Information[edit]
Kurt Seibert never recorded a major league hit in his 2 career at bats. Playing for the Chicago Cubs, he did score 2 runs, appearing 5 times as a pinch runner, once as a pinch hitter and once on September 15, 1979, against the Philadelphia Phillies to play second base. Mick Kelleher had started the game for the Cubs. Seibert made 2 putouts with no errors.
He had been at Clemson University at the same time as Denny Walling.
He was head coach of Georgia State University in 1992-1993.
As of 2006, he is training youth players in Columbia, SC at Welcome to the Big Leagues Baseball Academy.
