Kostyantya Tarsenko hit .316/.409/.632 with six runs in six games for the Ukrainian national team in the 2001 European Championship, posting a 19.29 ERA in one outing. He tied Ihor Cornomaz for the team lead in runs, led them with two triples and led them in slugging (.023 ahead of Ruslan Deykun). He tied Jairo Ramos Gizzi for 5th in the tourney in slugging and was the only player with multiple three-baggers.
