Biographical Information[edit]
Kevin Johnson was a three-time NBA All-Star who was known as an excellent passing point guard. While starring in college baseball at the University of California, K.J. made a brief appearance on the baseball diamond for the 1986 Modesto A's. He went 0 for 2 at the plate, striking out twice, and scoring a run. He played shortstop in the game. Johnson's cousin Donald Veal has had more success on the diamond.
In 2008, Johnson, a Democrat, was elected mayor of Sacramento, CA.
