Biographical Information[edit]
Kevin Edick was a college coach for over 25 years.
Edick began his coaching career at New Hartford High School in 1981 as freshman baseball head coach, eighth-grade basketball head coach, and assistant freshman football coach. He was a graduate intern at Wagner College in 1986. Edick became head coach of the State University of New York Institute of Technology in 1993. He was named SUNYAC Coach of the Year in 1997 and North Eastern Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2009. He set a school record with 20 wins in 2001 and has won over 200 games. He also was named SUNYAC women's basketball coach of the year in 1995-1996.
Edick originally joined SUNY Poly in fall 1988 and coached a number of sports including soccer, softball, golf and bowling. He retired from the school in September 2021.
