Keng-Hsin Liu was an All-Star in the CPBL.
Liu represented Taiwan in the 2004 Haarlemse Honkbalweek, and he was 1-for-11. The Brother Elephants selected him in the sixth round of the 2004 CPBL Draft, and he debuted in 2006. Liu hit .158/.223/.211 in 2006, then improved to .250/.299/.299 in 2007. He slumped to .211/.250/.224 in 2008, so he only played 39 games. Liu broke out in 2009. As a utility man, Liu hit .227/.282/.283 in 106 games with 15 steals. He was also selected into the 2009 CPBL All-Star Game, and he was 0-for-2. Liu played well in the 2009 Taiwan Series, hitting .414/.452/.383 but the Elephants still lost to the Uni-President Lions in 7 games. Liu was involved in a game-fixing scandal, and he was banned for life.
Overall, Liu hit .216/.270/.266 with 193 hits and 32 steals in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
