Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Ken Tippery played in the Baltimore Orioles system in 1957, 1958 and 1960, hitting .245 with 9 home runs and 105 RBI in 251 games. He began his career with a .299 batting average, but fell to .234 and .223, respectively, in the following campaigns. He was an American Baseball Coaches Association All-American at second base while at Michigan in 1957. He spent 1958-1959 in the Army.
