Biographical Information[edit]

Keisuke Takano pitched in the NPB and CPBL.

Takano was drafted by the Chiba Lotte Marines in the 7th round of the 2015 NPB draft, and he had a 5.87 ERA in 14 appearances in 2016. His ERA rose to 11.81 in 8 games in 2017, then he had a 4.15 ERA in 17 games in 2018. The Marines traded him to the Hanshin Tigers for Tsuyoshi Ishizaki in the middle of the 2019 season, but he only pitched 4 games with a 4.76 ERA for them. After staying in the NPB Farm leagues for the entire 2020 season, the Tigers released him. He then signed with the CTBC Brothers, but he only pitched one game in 2021. He pitched for the Tochigi Golden Brave of the Baseball Challenge League in 2022, and he announced his retirement after that season.

Overall, Takano was 2-0 with a 6.62 ERA, struck out 30 and pitched 50 1/3 innings in 4 years in NPB.
