Irene Lionikis (also known as Kay Lionikas and Kay Lionikdas)

Kay Lionikis played center field for the Springfield Sallies in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1948 to 1950 but the Sallies were only a member of the AAGPBL in 1948 when she did not appear in a game. She did go 0 for 4 at the plate in two games for the Grand Rapids Chicks and Peoria Redwings in 1948, playing second base. The other years, Springfield was a development team not involved in league play.
