Biographical Information[edit]

Kashon Conliffe has played in the minors and for Bahamas' national team.

He was the second Bahamas player to sign with the San Diego Padres in two years, following Evan Sweeting. [1] He hit .215/.319/.430 for the DSL Padres in his pro debut, scoring 29 runs in 43 games. He showed good pop; his six homers were second on the team, as well as a strong outfield arm (9 assists) and speed (14 SB, 1 CS) but struck out way too much (52 K in 121 AB). Given his other tools, he could become a good player if he cut down on the whiffs.

Conliffe was on the Bahamas squad for the 2022 Caribbean Baseball Cup. Backing up Ellison Hanna, Kristin Munroe and Toby Simmons in the outfield, he was 0 for 3 with three runs, two walks and a time hit-by-pitch. [2]
