Biographical Information[edit]
Karl Ravech hosted Baseball Tonight on ESPN. He was a local TV sports reporter from 1987-1993 then joined ESPN. He has covered the Little League World Series for ESPN, as well as the College World Series. In 2017, he replaced Chris Berman as host of the annual Home Run Derby competition as part of the All-Star Game festivities. He was part of the broadcast crew in the first postseason game on ABC since 1995, during the 2020 Postseason; he worked alongside Tim Kurkjian and Eduardo Perez. In 2022, he was added to the broadcast team of ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball. He also called games for the 2024 College World Series.
