Biographical Information

Kai-Chi Lin had a brief career in the CPBL. His father Kun-Wei Lin and uncle Kun-Han Lin both played in the CPBL.

Lin was drafted by the Rakuten Monkeys in the 8th round of the 2020 CPBL Draft, and he hit .184/.297/.218 in the minors in 2021. He recorded a .218/.296/.265 batting line in 2022, and he also played 3 games with the big club (going 1-for-8). The Monkeys released him after he missed the 2023 season due to elbow injury, and his professional career ended.
