Junie Melendez has been a scout.

Melendez was 4-5 with a 5.85 ERA for Toledo in 1998, 9-5 with a 3.10 ERA In 1999 and 3-6 with a 7.29 ERA in 2000. In 2008, he became a scout for the Cleveland Indians. He signed Kyle Smith.
