Biographical Information[edit]

Jui-Chih Yang played in the CPBL and the TML and and won a Gold Glove in the former.

Yang was drafted by the Taichung Agan in the second round of the 2002 TML draft. He batted .289/.361/.335 in his first and only year in the TML. When the two league merged, Yang was assigned to the Macoto Gida. He only batted .111/.179/.111 in his first year with the Gida. The Taipei native bounced back soon, and recorded a .276/.350/.354 batting line with a league-leading 8 triples in 2004. He was also selected into the All-Star Game for the first time in his career. Yang batted .261/.320/.324 and won the his only CPBL Gold Glove award as an outfielder in 2005. In 2006 season, Yang batted .263/.327/.289 and participated in the All-Star Game again. 2007 was the career year for Yang, as he batted .320/.371/.368 in 260 appearances. However, the Cobras released Yang due to unknown reason after the 2007 season, and this ended his professional career.

Overall, Yang had hit .275/.339/.328 in six seasons in the CPBL and the TML.
