Biographical Information[edit]
Jud Daley played two seasons with Brooklyn. With the 1912 Dodgers he was one of the most-used backups on the team, in 61 games and posting a .342 OBP on a team whose OBP was .336.
Daley was born in 1884 in Connecticut, the same year that Herman Bronkie and Tom Tuckey were born there. In spite of coming from the North, he spent a decade playing in the Southern Association, along with some years in the Eastern League. He twice managed in the Eastern League at Waterbury 1919-1920.
