Biographical Information

Juan Vené was a media man for all seasons. His column "Juan Vené en la pelota" was published in 34 newspapers in different countries and he also worked in radio and TV. He worked in the US, Venezuela and other nations as well and wrote 19 books. In 2013, he was inducted into the Salón de la Fama del Béisbol Venezolano along with defensive wizard Dámaso Blanco; he was the first member of the media elected in four years.
