Juan Decall
Curveball specialist Juan Decall was 0-1 for the Cuban national team in the 1938 Central American and Caribbean Games, taking their only loss (to Puerto Rico) as they won Gold. He had a 2.07 ERA on the event; only Agapito Mayor pitched more innings for the champs (Decall worked 17). He later played for a team of stars from Cuba's amateur leagues that stunned the Boston Red Sox in March 1941, in a 2-1 win. He struck out the side (Bobby Doerr, Jim Tabor and Johnny Peacock) in the second.
