Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Josh Whitaker was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 25th round of the 2010 amateur draft. The scout was Matt Ranson. With the Burlington Bees the following year, he hit 17 home runs while posting a .326 average, second-best in the Midwest League. Whitaker reached AAA in 2014.
