Biographical Information

Josh Walker is the cousin of Jake McGee. He was drafted in the 37th round of the 1996 amateur draft, by the Cleveland Indians, out of junior college. However, he declined their offer in order to go on to the University of Southern Mississippi and was undrafted after graduation.

He played one year with the Milwaukee Brewers affiliate Helena Brewers in the Pioneer League in 1999. He allowed 10 hits and 4 runs in 6 2/3 IP over 3 games as a reliever.
