Biographical Information[edit]

Third baseman Josh Brinkley played five seasons in the Montreal Expos organization, reaching as high as the AA level, with the Harrisburg Senators in 1997. He then played in the independent leagues for six years. He had his finest year in 2001 with the Lincoln Saltdogs, hitting .303 with 9 home runs to earn a spot on the Northern League All-Star team. He spent 2003 as a player/coach with the Bangor Lumberjacks of the Northeast League.

Brinkley was killed at age 30 after being struck by a car while jogging.
