Joseph Phillips (Hooker Joe)
- Died August 25, 1956 in Waynesburg, PA USA
Nicknamed "Hooker Joe", Joseph Phillips played 9 seasons in the minors. With the Uniontown Coal Barons in 1908, he hit .307 to win the Pennsylvania-West Virginia League batting crown. After his playing days, he managed six years in the Middle Atlantic League, mostly with the Fairmont Black Diamonds.
