Biographical Information

Jose Mercedes threw six scoreless innings for the Tigres del Licey in the 2008 Caribbean Series to help them to a title. He was the winning pitcher in the last game of the 2010 Mexican League finals, holding the Pericos de Puebla to two hits to give the Saraperos de Saltillo their second straight title.
