José Matute (Honduras)

José Matute was 2 for 13 with a run for the Honduran national team in the 2017 Central American Games. He also pitched once, relieving Luis Salinas in the 3rd against Nicaragua and allowing five hits, a walk and seven runs (all earned), including a Cheslor Cuthbert grand slam, in 2/3 of an inning. Elmer Andrade then took over. It is unclear if he is related to teammate Edgardo Matute. [1]
