José G. Guerrero

José Guerrero pitched for the Salvadoran national team in the 1972 Amateur World Series, 1974 Central American and Caribbean Games and 1975 Pan American Games. In 1974, he pitched 5 1/3 IP and allowing 15 hits, 6 walks, 2 hit batsmen and 18 runs (10 earned). He struck out two. Only Héctor Arita had a higher ERA for El Salvador. Interestingly, one of the event's top hitters was a Dominican outfielder also named José Guerrero.
