Biographical Information

Jorge Barcelan has played for the Metropolitanos Warriors. He went 7 for 35 with two doubles and two walks in 2008-2009 then hit .300/.365/.460 as a backup 2B-3B in 2009-2010. In 2010-2011, he batted .357/.401/.564 with 32 doubles and 70 RBI in 86 games, while fielding .931 at third base. His 20 errors tied Alexander Ayala, Michel Enriquez and Yulieski Gourriel for 4th in the Cuban Serie Nacional. He led in doubles, three more than Enriquez, and was 10th in average.
