Biographical Information

The Baltimore Orioles selected Jonny Tucker in the 20th round of the 2004 amateur draft. Tucker played in Baltimore's minor league system from 2004-2010 before switching to the Washington Nationals for 2011-2012. He completed his playing career with the Somerset Patriots in the independent Atlantic League from 2013-2015 and helped the Patriots win a championship in 2015.

Following his playing career, Tucker was the hitting coach for the West Virginia Black Bears in 2019. He was scheduled to move up to the Greensboro Grasshoppers in 2020 as hitting coach before the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
