Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Jonathan Diaz was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 12th round of the 2006 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the Auburn Doubledays, hitting .200 in 73 games. He spent the next season with the Lansing Lugnuts, hitting .246 with one home run and 51 RBIs and ending the year with an 8-game hitting streak. After splitting 2008 between the Dunedin Blue Jays and New Hampshire Fisher Cats, he played for the AA Fisher Cats and the AAA Las Vegas 51s in 2009.
