Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Jon Goodrich played in the minor and independent leagues from 1992 to 1995. He was drafted twice, initially by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 59th round of the 1991 amateur draft, then by the Colorado Rockies in the 46th round of the 1992 amateur draft, a few picks after then-catcher Britt Reames.
He began his career 3-1 with a 3.45 ERA in 21 games for the AZL Rockies/Cubs in 1992, but saw his performance slip the next three campaigns. He was 1-2, 4.91 the next year and 0-3, 4.01 in 1994. In 1995, with the independent Sonoma County Crushers, he went 0-2, 8.05 to wrap up his career.
He was 5-8 with a 4.60 ERA in 69 games (4 starts) for his career. In 133 innings, he allowed 147 hits, while striking out 102 batters.
