Biographical Information[edit]

Britt Reames went to college at The Citadel, and was a successful strikeout pitcher with a record of 18-7. A good minor league career was interrupted by Tommy John surgery and recuperation in 1997 and 1998. He was able to come back, however, and pitched parts of five seasons in the majors (he also pitched in the minors each year). In 2006 he was with the Indianapolis Indians, where he had a 2.80 ERA at the age of 33. Lifetime, in 10 seasons in the minors, he has an ERA of 3.35.
