Biographical Information[edit]
John Hagemann pitched for the Sandersville Giants and Muskogee Giants in 1956, going 6-4 in 28 games. He hit .194 in 31 at-bats.
He later became a scout, winning the Turk Karam Award in 1989. He signed, among others, Jason Marquis, Tony Graffanino and Dave Toth. He also strongly encouraged the Atlanta Braves to trade for John Smoltz.
