Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Dave Toth played eleven seasons of minor league ball in the Atlanta Braves and Chicago White Sox organizations.

Toth was signed by Braves scout John Hagemann as a free agent on June 25, 1990, and spent his first pro season with the Pulaski Braves that summer. He had his finest year in 1996 with the Greenville Braves, hitting .266 with career-highs in runs (63), hits (100), doubles (31), home runs (10), and RBIs (55). He moved on to the White Sox system prior to the 1998 season and spent his last three pro seasons playing at the AAA level in their chain.
