Biographical Information

A cousin of Jon Garland, John Bushart pitched one season in the minor leagues.

Bushart was 10-4 with a 4.38 ERA in college in 1993. The California Angels chose him in the 24th round of the 1995 amateur draft. John pitched for the 1995 Cedar Rapids Kernels, going 2-2 with a 7.36 ERA in 19 games.

Bushart was an assistant coach at Pierce College from 1998-2009, and head coach from 2010-2014.
