John Booher has been a scout for over 20 years.
Booher has been a coach for the Elmira Pioneers and Jackson Senators. He scouted for the Florida Marlins for 12 years and the Boston Red Sox for 7 years, then joined the Texas Rangers in 2012 as southeast crosschecker. He signed Jacoby Ellsbury, Nick Hagadone, Richie Lentz and Bryan Price.
