Biographical Information

Infielder Joey DeMichele played in the Chicago White Sox minor league system from 2012 to 2016. He was taken by the club in the 3rd round of the 2012 amateur draft. He was signed by scout John Kazanas.

He played for the Bristol White Sox and Kannapolis Intimidators in 2012, hitting .275/.334/.479 with 10 triples, 7 home runs and 38 RBI in 70 games. He had a .348/.412/.696 line with Bristol. In 2013, he hit .246/.323/.366 with 37 doubles and 19 stolen bases in 134 games for the Winston-Salem Dash. He began 2014 with the Dash.
