Outfielder Joel Torres played two years in the Cleveland Indians farm system. He hit .225/.311/.292 for the 2009 AZL Indians and .184/.260/.307 with 55 strikeouts in 114 at-bats for the same club the next year, giving him a batting line of .205/.286/.299 with 106 K in 234 AB over two seasons. After being let go by the Indians, he won one million dollars in a New York lottery in 2011. He vowed to continue his dream of playing pro baseball.
