Joe Page (minor league executive)
Joe Page, born Joseph H. Page, was a Chicago White Sox scout who founded the Eastern Canada League in 1922. He was its president for both of its seasons and for the Quebec-Ontario-Vermont League in 1924. He worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway as well. It can be said that he was at the center of just about every baseball venture that took place in eastern Canada from the 1890s to the 1930s.
He was inducted in the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2021 as part of its large class of Canadian baseball pioneers.
