Biographical Information[edit]
Joe Godri has been a college coach.
Godri was hitting coach at Villanova University from 1991-1993. Joe was head assistant coach at New Mexico State University from 1994-1997. He was am associate scout for the Cleveland Indians in 1998, then was assistant coach at the University of Utah for two years.
Joe became associate head coach at Villanova in 2001 and became head coach that May, the 10th head coach in school history. He has gone 360-420-3 through 2016, when the team did not retain him further. Godri helped develop major leaguers Matt Szczur, Brian Slocum and Kevin Mulvey.
Godri was Director of Athletics at Penn State Schuylkill from 2017 to 2021. He then became a sales manager for Daktronics.
