Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Joe Frisina played 9 years in the minors from 1946-1954, hitting .300 at several stops. He was the head coach at Mercyhurst College in 1971. He also managed in the Pittsburgh Pirates chain for 5 years and was a Pirate scout in 1969-1975 and 1979. He also was the signing scout for Delino DeShields while at the employ of the Montréal Expos.
