Biographical Information[edit]
Joe Caputo pitched two seasons in the farm system of the Chicago Cubs in 1951 and 1952. In 49 games, Caputo posted a record of 13-19 with a 4.78 earned run average over 245 innings pitched. He made stops with the Rutherford County Owls, the Janesville Cubs, and the Sioux Falls Canaries.
Caputo entered the military in 1952.
