Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Joe Bisenius was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 12th round of the 2004 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Paul Scott and made his pro debut that summer. Joe claimed the last spot on the Phils roster out of spring training 2007. He made his big league debut with 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief against Atlanta on April 5, but pitched only one other game that year. He did not come back to the majors until 2010, when he pitched 5 times for the Washington Nationals.

In 2018, Joe was hired as an area scout by the Minnesota Twins. His brother, Mike, played for the Sioux City Explorers in 2012.
