Jingchao Wang is a Chinese infielder. At age 17, he played for the Chinese national team in the 2006 World Baseball Classic, getting two pinch-hit at-bats. He struck out against Naoyuki Shimizu and singled off of Hong-Chih Kuo. In the 2006 Haarlem Baseball Week, he went 0 for 6. During the 2008 China Baseball League, the Tianjin Lions player led the league in steals and runs. In December 2008, Wang signed a player development contract with Japan's Yokohama BayStars for 2.4 million yen. Wang was on China's roster for the 2009 World Baseball Classic but did not play in that Classic.
