Jim Kelch has been an announcer.

Kelch began as an announcer for the Peoria Chiefs from 1984-1986. He then worked college basketball for many years, including calling the NCAA women's national championship game in 2009. He returned to baseball as the play-by-play man for the Louisville Redbirds in 1989. He remained with Louisville through 2009, when be became an announcer for the Cincinnati Reds. While in the minors, he worked the 2008 AAA All-Star Game.
